Around 1935, the Catalonian factory that later produced the Sadurní series of tanks and tractors started designing a revolutionary tank inspired of W. Christie's concept. The factory, already renowned by its Benach civilian tractors, hoped the tank would be approved and commissioned by Turkey - a regular custom of their tractors.
However, such commission was never granted in the end - or purchase negotiations were broken at a certain stage. The Spanish Ministry of War didn't pay any attention to the innovative design either, so this tank project was quickly forgotten - not even being requested any further study on it, in spite of having been patented.
Thanks to the patent recent unveiling though, we've now been able to reproduce this futuristic design and bring it to life.
