Pz.BefehlswagenAround 10-12 Panzerbefehlswagen command tanks were delivered by Germany to Franco's forces –all these, based on the Panzer I “B” version.

Panzerbefehlswagen or Sd.Kfz.265 was a type of AFV designed to provide an armoured unit commander with mobility and communications on the battlefield.

Contrary to the tank it derived from, the command version had no rotatable turret but a raised, closed superstructure. Those delivered to Spain still lacked a commander’s cupola, that was added later.
