Schneider 70/16 The Schneider 70mm cannon (70/16) was a Spanish Army standard mountain gun manufactured in Trubia and Seville under license. In service since 1909, by the Civil War outbreak most of them had become obsolescent and unusable. Nevertheless, those still serviceable were intensively used by both sides on all fronts.
