Sheet showing several textured paper historical flags of Olivier Levasseur pirate (1716-1724). Sizes: ensign W12 x L18 mm, mast flags W8 x L12 mm, jack W6 x L9 mm, pennant W4 x L48 mm.
The ensigns attributed to Olivier "La Buse" usually consist of a white flag with a black skeleton or skull. However, it must be pointed out that some sources do assign to him black flags with white sjkeleton or hull, perhaps for analogy with similar designs reportedly flown by other pirates.
